You lost me?

im kind of doubting that he really cares about who has more (unless it somehow effects his descision on what to do with it) and bragging about how much UO gold you have is pretty silly...

I feel that deleting would not help anything. I mean, unless you had just recieved an extrmely large chunk in one klump sum, its been being siphoned from the economy for some time now, and hasnt increased the value, correct?

I actually disagree with the zoo aspect unless its part of a larger scheme to get public participation. Otherwise, people may not even notice for a while. How often do you visit the zoo? 0.o

Donation to the cause of future events (like UOF contests or player run events) I think would not hurt the economy in the least and would help the society...

The zoo is your best bet it helps the shard and doesn't hurt the economy

Yeah, this is what I've ended up doing with most of it. Probably going to take it up another tier in the next few days but was thinking of taking it _just_ shy of the next tier and throw a sort of public event for all the tamers who'd like to donate an animal or two, the warriors who can go along to help them, and then reach the next tier that way and use all my reward points to give them all gifts from the zoo for coming out to help. This sounds good...logistics stink though. They always do. *chuckles*

I vote to help the zoo idea.

I had someone take me to the zoo in Catskills the other day. I believe we are one of the few shards that has a full zoo and it was really fun to look at things I've never seen before.

The thing I am noticing here is, you said you are 'sitting' on a large amount of gold. In that case, your gold is doing absolutely nothing to the economy. Deleting it won't change the economy. On the other hand, spending it at the malls that you can be fairly certain are housing scripter goods would enrich the scripters even more.

Giving it to an event or the Zoo or some other communal effort seems the best plan to me.

My daughter is always telling me to help the economy by dumping my rares and duplicated gift items in the trash. (not the really good ones of course) She says, if enough people did it, rares would be rare again.. IMO... they would just be closer to legends instead of rares.. it would be "hey remember those little (insert item) we used to have.. wonder what happened to them all.. GMs must have deleted them all"....

Donate it to some good guild or event or the zoo.. by good guild I mean one that actually helps players, not someplace that just hands things out. That isn't really much help sometimes. Although everyone can use a hand now and then, it shouldn't create a situation where the player has no incentive to try for him/herself.
