![]() | ok so its been 3 days now and still not working i need help. when i load uo up as i have done for 3 years with no problems until now. It doesnt patch any more and a message comes up saying " UNABLE TO CONNECT TO UPDATEACE SERVERS" i have not changed anything so why wont it patch? i tried to load without UO assist and still no luck, then i uninstalled and then re-installed 9th aniversary collection(not on KR prefere old 2D modes) still wont work pls help! ![]() |

![]() | Re: Omg I tell you what I've been told many times.... Make sure the rest of your PC is up to date... especially your graphics card and um..... that X thing... gods i forget what it is.... Active X I think...... Anyway make sure your opperating system is up to date as well..... when your done with all that uninstall UO make sure when your done you look in your program files and delete any UO stuff in there.... then try installing it again...... ![]() | Re: Omg If you've checked your firewall and found no problems.... do a full virus scan in safe mode. then do a full malware scan in safe mode (spybot - search & destroy, ad-aware 2007 for example). remove any infections this way. Use the immunize function on spybot afterwards. I'd also recommend you download Spywareblaster from javacoolsoftware afterwards, and enable all protection. These will help prevent further problems. If you can surf but not patch; It sounds like you have malware that's preventing patching through a modification to your hosts file (some malware tells your system the system address is the malware site address, and will automatically connect you to download more malware) Remove it, and you should be able to patch. ![]() |

![]() | Re: Omg Graphics card drivers shouldn't cause an issue with network connection, unless they're for an Nforce MCP/NIC Update your NIC drivers once you get everything resolved, and make sure you're not just using windows firewall to protect your system. You also may want to go into your Services Configuration and stop any sort of remote desktop, ect. services that you don't need, and will leave security holes if you don't shut them down. |
