Ok, so there I am minding my own business

I saw it on UHall. Gosh, probaly a year and a half ago now. Cant remember what shard they went to, but they had an EM event about Trinsic having all these Dragons of all types and even after the plot line plateaued, the EM never removed the Dragons...they were there for months, iirc.

Im pretty sure he was closing his account right after that happened and he kept getting canned responses about GMs not being able to replace lost items, yadda, yadda, yadda.

I did tfollow it to see what kind of resolution was made, but yuo would think they would help him out. He had after all just done a transfer so there must have been a log of all the new items that were just created on the shard he landed on...

I went thruogh the litle tour when I made a new char about a week or 2 ago but I thought it still dropped my in Skara, where I told it to....

I dont see how this could have happened as when u transfer everything is in a your transfer box and wont come out till u click on them. Unless he didnt notice the invasion and popped them out but surely he would have notieced

yep, they are in a box, you click them, and they appear next to you

Hmmmm, I remember going to trin on the shard in question and the invasion was only in the Eastern part of the town. Maybe he pulled everything out of the box and went to the walk to east bank??

Also, this was quite a while ago, could the method of transfer have changed?

Its how EA keeps the newbs out of uo. The newbs die and the good ones dont:grin:

lol jk, but yeah I think the tour idea is pretty rediculous my self, especially if it kills you at the end for highend game experiance.

hmm so I'm wondering if the guy didn't go somewhere else, get his packies out and then use a book to recall to Magincia?

I did that once... was doing escorts on my home shard and forgot all about the invasion *smacks head* landed in the middle of about 200 orcs and orc brutes and Ogre Lords... oops!
