Ok, so there I am minding my own business

...making new characters on Pacific.I get to my 3rd newb and cancel the tour which teleports me to Magincia Inn.Well if I was a totally new player to UO I probably would of enjoyed the tour but nothing would of prepared me for what hapenned next

Ok i guess everyones afk atm, so here is what happened.Exiting out of the guided tour randomly took me to the Tavern/ Inn at Magincia to be insta killed ??????

Now what in the hell is that all about ,lol?

Indeed,Araevin I mean Im a seasoned player and it blooimn scared me ,lol.

I pity any totally new players making characters on Pacific ,lol

Well all the other shards I made newbs on were fine .

I cant get rezzed as the shard went done and threw me out,lol

Maybe they dont want new players on Pacific,lol

Pacific Shard is not for the weak hearted. Even Trammel will get you killed.

Do you guys remember the post about the guy who transferred to to a shard and picked Trinsic where there was a Reptile infestation?

Guy popped up with 5 packys loaded and got insta-killed by a group of Shadow Wyrms and couldnt get to his corpse in time to loot them. Lost all kinds of stuff....

I went thruogh the litle tour when I made a new char about a week or 2 ago but I thought it still dropped my in Skara, where I told it to....

Ouch Kettle, that would totally suck. Was that posted here or on stratics? I wonder what kind of hell that guy raised afterwards....

I saw it on UHall. Gosh, probaly a year and a half ago now. Cant remember what shard they went to, but they had an EM event about Trinsic having all these Dragons of all types and even after the plot line plateaued, the EM never removed the Dragons...they were there for months, iirc.

Im pretty sure he was closing his account right after that happened and he kept getting canned responses about GMs not being able to replace lost items, yadda, yadda, yadda.

I did tfollow it to see what kind of resolution was made, but yuo would think they would help him out. He had after all just done a transfer so there must have been a log of all the new items that were just created on the shard he landed on...

I dont see how this could have happened as when u transfer everything is in a your transfer box and wont come out till u click on them. Unless he didnt notice the invasion and popped them out but surely he would have notieced
