Easy - Lemme clarify.

KR isn't about that sort of stuff - Like Silverfoot said - its about graphics/interface mostly. If anyone says anything about new magic in KR they're likely talking about the new way it might look on screen.

Now the Abyss is about new features - but frankly, its too early for us to give details.

The Dev team always start internally with page after page of ideas from everyone, just like the boards might - and then we wheedle down to what we can do properly. The Dev's can't quote features and things till we're 99.9% positive how its all going to work together. So if they're silent about SA stuff its just policy keeping us quiet till its written in stone so to speak.

Darkscribe and Jeremy will fill everybody in as soon as they can, I've no doubt of that.

Is there anything special in those screenies you designed cathat? I can't wait to hear about the craftables, I heard the word BOD a lot during that swampie video.

Oh yeah well there isn't a screen that was shown that didn't have something done by me every second of play time really. From the magic spells effects you see, to the very dirt on the floors, I get my paws on a lotta stuff in game. We all do really - so much in the world.

Actually, as folks get to play KR - i'm intersed in seeing if they can pick out what dev made what - lol.

And hey - maybe after KRs launched i'll share some KR pics of some funny stuff. During a recent test i went into the Wizards tower in Brittania - only to have someone with GM power make it rain cats on me - fillling the tower wall to wall with felines - lol. Don't see that everyday do ya.

The events are hosted by EA/Mythic and have always been free to attend.
The recent NYC was a bit different as it was held in conjunction with another gaming event ( Which made it very difficult to find! So I'll give this advice, ask for a Mythic \EA event, not Ultima or just EA if they ever have another combo event.)

I hope they make horses sound like horses and make them sound like they should on difference surfaces as well as players footsteps. That be very nice if they done this too and bring in EAX capability to UO.
