Not sure who to ask or where this question would go ...

There is a small log house on Sonoma (Trammel, Trinsic) which is private ...
The house sign says ... Unnamed house ...
there is no owner name ... and it just has private ...

ummm ok? Is this a house that should not be there?

We are wondering because it is jammed inbetween to other homes
and there is a plot opening that would make a better location
for this person ... so we thought we would try to get in touch with them but ...
no name for owner .. no name for house ... hummm wierd???

Anyone know why it would be like that?

Those homes are usually owned by OSI banned account homes.
They usually just sit there for what seems like forever.

Then shouldn't it say ... OSI OWNED?
instead of private home ...
at least then it would let us know that it will be undergoing demolition someday

and it would show that they are not tolerating ... cheaters (banned for whatever reason) in our game.

I don't understand it either.
I was told it had something to do with legal mumbo jumbo.
Like, they can't let the house fall until the account is settled or some sort of thing like that. So they *take possession* of the house without letting it be "owned by" anyone, until the matter is settled.
At least that was the way it was explained to me.

Be nice if they would make an official statement ..
and it sure would be in their favor to put "OSI" owned on the house signs until whatever it is ... is settled ...
showing that they take things as seriously as they claim they do.
As it stands now it looks like the property is just "messed up".

It could be possible that the house name had an offensive name as well as the one who placed it, and a GM just blanked it out.

Seriously though, I doubt if it was a name problem ...
because they "make" you change your character name or they give you one ...
so that new name would show on the house sign as "owner" ... hummm

They've been deleting alot of accounts recently in effort to discourage scripting and from what I've read, that's the way the house signs have been appearing on homes owned by said banned accounts.
