This is the "meat" of Nok's reasoning. What gray area? The definition of illegal UO programs is very clear. It isn't like there is a flood of new UO programs coming out. People are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

When I started playing I didn't know what was acceptable and what wasn't without doing some heavy looking. I don't think I'm an exception by any standard.

And let's not lessen the effect of how the already illegal programs go virtually undetected so there really isn't a need to make new ones.

On a general note, there are much more important issues facing UO today yet people are complaining about a program that ended 8 years ago

Not really complaining about it. Just talking about it 'cause the topic came up.

All it really does is point out another problem that has existed well beyond the time it should have.

But this isn't a problem. The program was discontinued and has no bearing on whether unlisted programs are legal to use with UO.

JC's Thought Dump -- Don't bother, I've read it and it is just not good.
