  | no love for widescreen On Stratics a players asks about play modes I have a wide screen monitor and I play in full screen mode , will there be a wide screen option in KR? or do I have to see the world through my wide angle glasses? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ good question, i wonder the same thing altho all that extra space is handy for open bags and spell/specials icon's ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Im no dev, but from sheer fact you can zoom in and out I see no reason why we couldnt get a bit more real estate on the left and right for widescreen. Im sure there are technical isssues to deal with but I have faith they will support wide screens, especially since they want to keep UO alive for years to come. I interested in the resoultion I can run the game at. I have a 30 inch widescreen so can we get 2560 x 1600 please!  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Widescreen isn't that expensive anymore, you can get a 19in widescreen for $199 these days ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CatHat UO Character/Environments Artist *Ears perk up. Hmm for that price, I might find myself looking around for a new widescreen for the home studio. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Who of us here has widescreen to enjoy their gaming on then ?   |

| Re: no love for widescreen I just bought a new 19" wide screen monitor and now I dont know how I got by without one before. (should have gotten bigger, like 22"+ but was afraid it wouldn't fit) I love the thing! I am always having multiple windows open also, which is convenient with a wide screen. | Re: no love for widescreen They'd be stupid if they didn't. Widescreen and PC gaming will become the norm and non wide screen LCD's and CRT's the thing of the past. We're in that transition period now. |
