My stats are at max, but obviously im alternating between switching them down and up to get the correct amounts for what I need.

1 of 2 things then.

1) You are at skill cap and just don't know it.

2) You're character's bugged and you should kill it. j/k, but you could die and get rezzed and see if that works.

I'd stone it off to a new char, fit him with as much MR and max LMC armor and do as I said above.

You might be a skill cap and dont know it like Dip said.

Another friend suggested getting killed. Which I did and didnt make a difference half way through.

I also am not near the stat cap I have 638.6 at the moment with my 110 meditation pointed down along with wrestling and eval int pointing down - Ninjitsu is pointing up. I have also tried mulitple times locking it/pointing it down.

I think the only thing I have not tried is switching it to another char. I wish EA would help people better the customer service I recieved from them is rubbish.

They either don't play the game so they don't understand, or they do play the game, and you're interrupting their play.

Right after 17 hours of not getting a single gain. I tried various things. I have just tried the using death strike with jewelry taking me to 90, I am now gaining slowly but surely. How stupid that it works this way.

I've created characters for the sole purpose of training a skill then stoned it to established characters 3 times so far, I'll continue doing it as needed.

Try this also I have done this stone all your skill but ninja and weopen skill then try death stikes It will make the game think you dont have much skills and help you gain

The death strike jewels have really helped. Im now at 79.2 real. Takes a heck of along time though!

When training Ninjitsu for the second time, I got from 0 to about 75 in a couple of hours...
First order of the day is the MR items, obviously. Plus 110 med (Ninja mage ft... not-so-win, actually).
Anyway, getting up to a little over 50 isn't too hard. You can use a new player quest to get to 50, then either a little more training, or jewelery.
At about 55-60, I switched to Shadow-jump.
Using UOA, you can specify target locations, or relative locations.
1.) Set up a macro for casting SJ, then targetting a relative location on the tile next to you (preferably in a direction heading down a long straif road). Repeat the macro until you hit a wall and run back the way you came when you do.
2.) Set up a macro similar to the above, but with just a location targetted, close to a wall. From that location, use the movement click-lock (when you're holding down right click to move, left click once, then you can release the right button and it'll keep you moving as if you were holding it down), to move towards the wall. Each time you SJ, you'll teleport to that location, and move towards teh wall again (you need to walk, to maintain stealth).
Admittedly, I munched a Ninjistics alacrity scroll, and gained about 60-75 in 15 minutes. But without one, you're talking 30-75 minutes.

I think that, without Stealth, there's a black hole in the Ninjitsu gains.
So, the solution is either stealth, or jewels...

I know the problem was solved already, but I thought I'd share what I'd learned.
