Hi all im new to the forums here and im an old school UO player just now returning and there has been alot of changes since i left and i was wondering if Ninja would be effective at all in PvP and what is the best weapon class to use fenc or swords? If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :grin:

stealthing ninja hide and stealth gimping is not pvp.

If you use ninja to deathstrike as a supplimental damage modifier, then yes, it is viable and works pretty well.

I have a 4th string red mage that has ninja and scribe, and he is VERY lethal.

Using ninja in PVP is pretty useful. That deathstrike with tracking is nice, and you can get away without having a heal skill. I know a guy who doesnt have healing and he does very well. Key is to go wolf form. I hear the HP regen is pretty decent.

But please, and I really mean please, for the sakes of all of us out there, including vy (anti-anything archer) do not make a ninja archer. We do not need another one running around, no matter what shard, try some creativity and play around with what they give you.

Thanks...i had no plans of using archery...actually if you read my original post i was wondering also what weapon class woud be better fence or swords....i know alost of people say fenc do to the fact that the new ninja weapons are fencing weapons......but i think swords could be more effective do to the fact that swords weaps do alot my damage.....for instance i was thinking about using a cleave as weap i do use swords instead...well what do yo think would be a good template for a pvp ninja?

Also are Paladins and Necro good fpr PvP?

are you talking about the stealthing ninja type thing, or putting ninjitsu on a mage or dexer for one or two abilities ?

Yes both have ups and downs on both mage or dex based templates.
