I have to say, from a fangirl perspective, this was a total dream come true. Lord British showed up! Squeeeee!
We did some deeply random stuff - showed Ultima Underworld (like, the 13 year old game) to illustrate some of our SA inspiration, took a little bit of QA, then just broke down and hung out. I'm really curious to see some reaction to that setup - it's vastly more fun for me to be able to table-hop and chat with people in person rather than stand up on a stage and field Q&A, but I don't know what everyone else thinks.
The Paxlair presentation was very cool - man, almost ten years of player community right there. That validates my entire existence. Very, very awesome.

I love Ultima Underworld, I played 1 & 2 many times over, they were amazing games for that time, with really nice graphics and the story-lines were great too. I will never forget my first meeting with a headless which caused me to turn and run all the way back to the castle! I actually screamed.... ahhh those were the days!

Yeah I died there many, many times... I still have fond memories of those games though. Was it Ultima 7 where the damn magic carpet used to drive me nuts? There was always one party member who wouldn't get on it! I loved how all the little npc's would walk around and when I first saw UO it looked so similar, all those tiny little detailed people! *sighs* Hey hold on Jeremy you came on here and didnt tell us anything new and tasty from the Town Hall! *pouts* Why hasn't anyone spilled any beans yet?! I am desperate to hear some news!!

It really wasn't a "new and tasty" town hall... it was mostly just a party.

That's even worse... a party and I didn't get to go and dress up, it was just too far away from the UK. *sobs* Oh well at least we have some 10th Anniversary goodies to look forward to... *waits to hear about the goodies*

I have a full entire news report on all three days of the activities.. Including pictures and audio interviews at my disposal.. The only problem is that you won't allow it to be posted here because that "unmentionable radio station" gets mentioned alot because they hosted most the events. I am a UO Shard News Manager and was the only one there from stratics doing a news report covering the entire thing. So until I get permission to post the news reports here, I don't know where to tell you to get info other then that one site I cant say.

As far as unmentionable sites, sometimes it is better for things not to be mentioned. Not out of a grudge, but so someone doesn't come here, do a quick search, and start a flame war.
