About 120 people attended.

Saturday night (is that an oxymoron?) Richard Garriott showed up live and in person! That radio site that I'm not allowed to mention, did a live interview with Richard Garriott at the Town Hall. They also did a few live interviews with players, like kelmo from Siege, Governor Winfield and Mayor Ga'kuct from Chesapeake, along with a few others. You might be able to download these as podcasts from the (unmentionable) site, but it was being broadcast live for anyone who cared to listen. They also did video, but I was disappointed that the video did not cover all that was happening there. The camera was on the stage at all times, and that wasn't necessarily where the action always was.

The UO Team gave away T-shirts. The question and answer session was dismal, at best, but I heard that many questions were answered outside the Q&A session and many ideas were exchanged with the team. Near the end of the evening, people were asking how to set up macros in UO:KR and Jeremy was demonstrating how to do this. Hopefully, it will all be in a video we can all view and learn from!

Well cant wait to hear more.

First things first... who the heck is that seriously in Bo's avatar?! I'm hypnotized by it too. And the person looks familiar for some reason... like it's from a comedy bit, music video or something.

Okay on to secondary stuff. I heard a good portion of the broadcast too, but not all of it. I didn't catch much of the devs.

I heard and saw most of the PaxLair presentation which being a fan of player towns was very cool to see the good peops of PaxLair getting some well deserved recognition.

And I heard almost all of the Richard Garriot interview, which was great! Garriot really had a LOT to say about UO... it's beginnings, over the years, and it's future. He's played almost all the big MMOs out there... and still sees UO as something completely unique. He hasn't played KR yet, but he hasn't played anything but his own new Tabula Rasa for sometime as he's trying to get TR shipped. He liked the concept of KR from the presentation he saw yesterday, and will try it when he has time after TR ships. He was really quite positive about UO going into the future. He also talked about TR a bit, but in doing so made some nice connective points about how there are some conceptual design points between TR and UO. He believes UO players will like TR and TR players will like UO.

Offtopic... unmentionable UO community members (including sites, etc.) needs to be rethought. Grudges don't benefit anyone. And I'll leave that at that.

I cant believe Garriot came out for the meeting. Thats really cool! I thought he had been done and kinda separated himself from UO for years now.. I had read an article in some PC gamer magazine a few months back with him talking about UO, so I guess he's still kinda in the loop huh?
