Red face new woods

I have a lumberjack, everyday I will walk him through the local woods hacking away at trees making bows and furniture.
Although there are new timbers I had never actualy gone looking for them and by accident I came across Oak, Ash and Yew.
Although my lumberjack is a GM, I never found any other timber till I stumbled across a tree giving Frostwood from which I made some very nice containers for my house. The following day .... a miricle.....I found a tree giving Heartwood. Great.
One problem I cannot make ahything with it.

I thought the list of timbers started with the easiest working up to the rarest.
If so, how can I make containers of Frostwood but not Heartwood?

Have not yet found any Bloodwood.

Re: new woods

If that is the correct list then UO have dropped a clanger, when you scroll your wood list you get

Wood
Oak
Ash
Yew
Heartwood
Bloodwood
Frostwood.

I took this to be the correct way as the metal scroll list worked in this manner

This is the correct order of the woods. You could work Frostwood but not Bloodwood? That should not happen. I am assuming you have a GM Carpenter. Only a GM Carpenter can work the woods which are on the high end. A fletcher CAN work all of the woods, but cannot cut them into boards. If you use the Fletching Tool on logs you can make items as a Fletcher. Lumberjacks who are not Carpenters are at a disadvantage, as they have to carry the logs whole to a storage facility for their carpenters to cut up. But the fact that you made the item with Frostwood then couldn't work the Bloodwood has to be something strange happening.

Re: new woods

I personally think bloodwood is the best wood out there. In the new ML dungeons the critters drop wooden armor, and if you can find one with some HP Regen on it, even nicer when you can find one with 2. you enhance it with blood to make it 4. That is really nice to have. The resists on it are probably the nicest as well. I am in the process of making a ninja assasin with a hpregen suit, it will be like 38-40 when I'm done with it.

Re: new woods

I found one of my Bloodwoods by taking note and adding up things... When I was out chopping, I noticed often HUGE piles of normal logs. Lightbulb came on.. it said.. someone stood around here a heck of a long time chopping and throwing away wood... maybe there is a fancy wood here too... so I checked near the wood piles a few times... and VOILA!!! One of them WAS Bloodwood! Just a thought.. maybe it will help.
