Quick question, now that I've posted it our news - How do you know that this is an orc? Looking at the spikes on his back, it makes me wonder if this is some kind of creature that we've never seen before. I don't recall ever seeing spikes on an orc before...

Also, this creature looks a lot more like what I envision an Orc to be:

Are you sure that one isn't a Cyclopean Warrior? The outfit is consistent, and the eye/s is/are closed.

Besides, there's clearly an orc right and down from that one.

Yes, in my opinion the Wallpaper called "Orc" doesnt really look much like an orc to me, looks too lizardlike, and the spikes on its back don't support a good case for it being an orc. The one in the picture just there though, with the armor on, sure does look like an orc.

When it comes out I hope that I don't stand awestruck whilst the critter mows me down. .I can hardly wait. . I didn't like the 3D but this is UNREAL! ! Bring it on! ! !

For Clarification - This guys is an orc... well one of many on the concept art page.




The one that is wallpaper with the spikes in his back i believe is an Orc Brute.. He likes to throw smaller Orcs at people - you know the guy i'm talking about.


The fella with the big hammer, and the big red eye in his pointy head - Thats a conceptual drawing of a Cyclops.

I still get a kick out of that it makes me laugh every time I get hit upside the head with an orc:grin:

I thought that was going to be the new playable race.

He doesn't look very playable to me.. Think we have issues now with the 'elf only' clothing.. imagine the 'orc only' clothing!

Tattered rags? I don't think elves or humans would mind not being able to wear those.

Will the Orc go "commando" or be plagued by "gunga din shorts?
