![]() | Re: New to Ultima Online Cool, well as soon as I can log back in Im gonna just start my character as a Necromancer. Mainly because I want to change my name xD So I'll be called Seravi Sensei Regards! P.s. Still having annoying log in issues - keeps saying I have met the IPG Time limit; should resolve itself when I am back home on the 10meg Cable. Edit: Well, Necromancer is so much fun! I love weakening the monster, harming it, then whacking away with my Scickle I can't wait until I can use the big Scythe - like the one Death uses. Can anyone recommend a build - 7 skills - which would include necromancer spells and using a scythe. Thanks! Last edited by Riiyachan; 26th March 2007 at 01:41 AM.. Reason: Additional Information, new question. |

![]() | Re: New to Ultima Online Welcome to UO! Uo does have a friendly mature community with some very nice people apart of it. Be warned though as somebody stated UO does have its fair share of rotten apples in the community too. Scamming is not policed by the developers so there are people in the Uo community who make it their purpose to scam and get enjoyment from scamming others. Make sure you read the avoid being scammed link on the UO patch window. Uo also has its fair share of L33T Doods . They’re easy to avoid as they normally wear as much neo as they can and name their characters like they were playing Quake. The good news though is the Kingdom Reborn client will not be supporting Neo colors! That aside Uo is a great MMO that's about to get even better and for the most part a great community. |

![]() | Re: New to Ultima Online Hehe. So far everyone has either asked me if I want armour or help. Too bad I was remaking my character ![]() As for Kingdom Reborn, I personally cannot wait! I really like that it looks pretty much like the Baulder's Gate and IceWind Dale series games. Regards! ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: New to Ultima Online Good choice picking Europa, and welcome! Apart from the whole lag issue, there is another reason it`s best to pick a shard in your own timezone, and that is that the player run events will happen at a time when you are awake ![]() I played my first UO year on LS, and I could not even meet up with guildmates if they did the usual work-all-day thing. I also play on Europa, and can be of help and assistance if you need it. In addition to this board, the Stratics board of Europa is also a place where you can introduce yourself and ask questions. |
