Don't pick the 3d client. It was announced just today that the 3d client will soon be discontinued. A brand new client will be arriving later this spring, most players will switch to that one.

Yes, but isn't that slated for release in Spring? Should I not use the 3D client untill then? Or is the 2D client any better?

3D Client Update:
We have a specific date when the legacy 3D client will be going away (as always, all dates are subject to change.) The 3D client will no longer be usable on the live servers as of the client patch that is projected to go live on April 2nd. After that patch, the only clients that you will be able to log in with are the 2D client and, if you're a beta tester, the KR client on certain servers.


So you'd be able to use the 3d client for 2 weeks, tops. Best to just go with the 2d at this point.

I actually prefer 2D over 3D.

Excellent. Well, only because it means that I don't have to spend an age deciding which client to use.

Quick question while you are here, what is the 2D client like graphics wise?

Can you link to a good screenshot that is the 2D client, and not the 3D one.

It's down to personal opinion/choice
Some can't stand 3d, some love it
Bit like if you prefer mcdonalds to burger king

I personally prefer 2d, most players do.
Try both and see which ya prefer.

Hehe. I will just use 2D, seeing as though most people do and the current 3D client is being discontinued and replaced.

Would be nice to know when the Kingdom Reborn is expected to be released - date wise - but it just says Spring 2007.
