Re: New Thinking

But do you want to know the best way EA can get subscribers. Just like any pc game it asks you your graphics mode. Low, Medium, High. All EA has to do is make the old 2d its low, the old third Dawn is medium and KR is high thats all there is to it. I know it takes extra work to make all these graphics but dont you think its worth it if uo climbed up there with WoW. Ive never played WoW but Ive seen other and I must say its a beautiful engine, mediocre game. Feels like a video game, not a new world.

why you cant is due to the layering of Sosaria... same reason we can not have basements in our homes... there is nothing under the surface tiles or the water tiles...

Re: New Thinking

True think of this ok new player and you have new player quests to get items even if it is snowballs and stuff like heartseaker.... what do you think about being able to trade them in for like other stuff as in major items like rune beatle carps and stuff

Re: New Thinking

That is a good idea to be able to trade in a lot of minor things for a few major. That would make it possible for relatively new players to be able to aquire certain items. i of course want to stress on the fact that very good items should be set aside for more advanced players who took the time to get them. But it wouldnt hurt to reward players who spent hours if not days weeks or months collecting items to be able to turn them in for somthing much more usful. In fact some of the more powerful items of the game should only be aquired by trading in many very good items. This would kill off players being able to get powerful items in large quantities. This system would be like donating to the zoo or liberary. simply drop your rare, gift, weapon or whatever into a box and receive points! This would get rid of the surplus amount of items people keep around because they cant bare throw away ( I have a sack full of good magic jewelry I know some one needs)

Example: Trade in all your 9th anniversary gifts, and 10 or so holiday gifts to receive a shroud of shadows. (better ideas will be coming)

Example: Trade in ten +5 magery scrolls for 1 +20 magery scroll. You could change it to require more items for less or less for more but you get my point.
