Interesting - I wonder if that is worldwide subscriptions or US-based.

It says that of the 75k UO subscribers in Dec 2007, 50k were in Japan.

Not looking good for UO, seems it is slowly dying.
Final Fantasy seems to be doing great though, im gonna take a look at their web and see if its worth giving it a try

Warhammer is the future.....they've put all their eggs in that basket and UO and DAoC have pretty much dried up (sorry but its true and I dont like it anymore than the rest of U) even looks as tho EQ has finally run its course. Also with so many options/games available its no wonder memberships are plummeting. biggest shock to me was that Eve is up in subs!

I tried EVE but found it difficult to find a place where I fit in. Seems that every corporation I came across had a very "Holier than thou" elitist attitude. I'm certainly not saying everyone who plays it is like that, I just couldn't find anyone.

Other than that though, I found it very enjoyable.

Edit:
Just noticed that the majority of games seem to be losing subscriptions. Where is everyone going? Someone should tell them to join UO! And what in the world is Dofus? I've never heard of it.

are they factoring in multple users using the same credit card info or email acct.... my family of 5 uses the same credit card and two email acct's .... ???

FFXI Online was not bad although you really need groups in that game and depending on what time on day your playing or night... it can be REALLY hard to locate them
