Need Help with KR-toolbar problem

Hello All!

I just started a new tamer. Unfortunately, I named him the same name as my mage. In KR, that means all the toolbars are the same when I load up either character, and a change to one is a change for both.

You can see how a mage and a tamer would have different hotkey needs. How can I split them apart? Do I need to soulstone off my advanced skills, delete the new char, and recreate a different named one?

hmm.. I have had same name chars before but on different accounts.. judging by the way it stores the user data, I think stoning skills and delete char or use name change token only way you going to fix this issue.. Wish had a better suggestion for you.

Yeah the way KR (And most games) store macros is in a My Documents folder named after your character.

Same name for both characters equals same folder for macros.

The only way to change this (I believe) is to change the name.

Yup, you are going to either be stoning off your skills or buying a name change token.

Well, guess it's a good thing I have 4 soulstones for that account...

Taming...check
Lore...check
Vet...check
Hiding...check

Magery is easy to raise with a wand equipped, especially since I can get 50 points with a new char. I can also transfer my wonderful new greater dragon to my current tamer for a day. Whew.

I know I'm a bit off-topic here, but this is something I've been wondering about (and it relates to something stupid I did.) Can there be multiple instances of a name on the same shard? Furthermore, can there multiple instances of the same name on the same shard on the same account? I remember when this would have definitely been a no... but so much has changed, I don't know what to think.

In case you are wondering, I created a new character on a new shard, with the intention of using an advanced character token on him, and naturally, I named him after my tamer from another shard. Well, some things have transpired, and I'm mostly decided to just transfer the first instance of this character to the new shard, but, I'm in a quandary as I am assuming this isn't possible until I delete the old character.

You can name all your characters the same name if you want. I used to know a guy on Napa who did exactly that. He was into RP so I never knew if he'd hug me on his nice char, or kill me on his vicious one lol.

Just be ready for macros to overlap tho.

In 2d i know you can change.. but in kr i got no clue... but seems like the easiest is a name change really.

Shouldnt be that expensive
