Yea last night alot of people were killing them in Trammel. With the help of a guild member we managed to tame 3 without any rude tame interrupts or killings in Felucca. Felucca late at night is the best place to get them. I'll post the stats for mine when I get home

I have 120 taming with jewels... and man, I had the worst luck with this one. Took me over an hour to tame it alone in the wild, after losing conn and dying because a rat blocked my way... anyway.

I ran into shame and did it surrounded by earth eles and nothing happened to them.

I thought I read somewhere that it was just a visual goodie, but I'm not positive.

One of mine had 636 hp, and that was unbuffed. Also, another had 161 int, and I'm pretty sure that was unbuffed as well.

The stat ranges for these things seem to be really big, kinda like greater dragons.

Found the post. Hmm... trick huh? I will have to try that! lol. Has anyone tried doing this with other animals?

Anyway, I was lead taming/invising them. No damage at all. I found its actually more difficult for me to tame things when they're damaged because the horses do teleport. haha Not sure if anyone else had noticed that.

Also, this is the way I do it. Precast invis, run up to just within range of a vanguard, dismount, bolas, run away. Run back, agro the horse and lead it away toward the front gate of cove. Once there I invis to clear agro, mount and then precast invis. Move to within taming distance and cast invis. The next thing I do might be KR only... not sure, but I click the horse to get it as my "current" target. I then start casting invis and at the same time spam my taming hot key. I then lead it until it starts to tame, then I invis, and recast invis until I get the failed/succeed message. I then repeat. It can be a pain though but I haven't died yet doing this. I recommend at least 2/4 and 60+ resists. I also have 144 mana and 13mr.

On a side note, I only ran into one butthat last night. I had bola'd a horse and led it away and started taming it, and he ran over and just as I was finishing taming he tried to cast ebolt on it. I got REALLY lucky and tamed it on the first time, we were in fel so he ebolted my now blue horse and got guard whacked. I couldn't stop laughing. Justice was definitly served to his rude face!

About the killing.. I'd probably kill one if i found one while hunting.. Why? I cant tame it.. i want its loot

However I wouldnt kill it if a Tamer was trying to tame it already.. Thats just griefing. But otherwise I really dont care.. its a monster after all.. Why should i spare it?
