Sad it has such low fire resist. Greaters will tear it apart, but I suppose that comes with the price of 2 more control slots.

Would be interesting if they gave tamers 1 more control slot. Maybe make it so you have to have natural 120 tame/lore/vet and you get +1 control slot. The variances in creatures would really become more accessible. Plus, you can ride a ethie while hunting with a GD! Yeah yeah, pvp, but thats a cop out. You can out run Greater dragons on foot with out help from... other programs.

Hahaha I'm prettty sure I'm not going to agree with you on the topic of PvP ;P if you PvP on a tamer. I do think older pets, like Dragons, and White Wyrms, should be trainable to compete with greater dragon abilities.

Some people don't know until after their first spawn and everybody whines/yells at them.

Some people do it because tamers and their friends break others' tames and can't be mature about it.

You've got that right. Some tamers on Catskill will attack anytime anyone else but them tries to get a tame in. About as childish as you can be.

And if anyone didn't know, if you say the word "trick" you'll get a nice little explosion from your horse.

I was happy, it appears to be the best of the six total we got yesterday.

I noticed two particular fella's on GL going out of their way to kill them everytime they were around..... Both in Fel and in Tram.... a few so far have managed to tame one but not me....... so far I haven't been able to do hardly get close without someone killing it. Trying to have patience though... I'm afraid you will find folk who are like that just about everywhere.

MalagAste, you almost need to be in a group to be successful. Maybe you have been, I don't know. We did it in Fel Cove on GL, and wound up with six total yesterday. Last night we got three in one wave, which was sweet. Basically, one person was designated dismounter and bait. They dragged them down away from the spawn, where they would be invised/healed. That person may or may not be a tamer...if they are, they mount and then start the tame while the rest of us heal and keep any stray spawn away. Once tamed, the horse is given to someone and we do it all over again. I tamed my own, then tamed a second and gave it to someone in our party. The other tamer got 4 total yesterday. This method seems to work well for us, and honor taming is totally pimp with these things as they take a lot of attempts to score. Only place I saw folks killing the horses was Tram, but I may have been in Fel at a different time than you, I don't doubt it's happening.
