MUD/BBS door game experiences of UO players?

Sort of curious how many UO players played the same MUDs and BBS door games back in the day. My favorites were:

Trade Wars 2002
Barren Realms Elite (B.R.E.)
Legend of the Red Dragon
And one the name of which escapes me..was _very_ much like the earlier Ultimas only in ANSI/text graphics. Wish I could remember it...

These served as the introduction for roleplaying in an online game for me. Who else played (or still plays, many TelNet boards still exist running TW2002, maybe someone knows of a good one?) any of these games, or ones similar?

Another game I play is pritty much a text based game called KoL. It uses some stick figures but is simple figures due to comedy and simplicity. The game is free and you just sign up at www.kingdomofloathing.com Check it out!

I played a few back in the day, can't remember their names except for Weyrmount but that was a long time ago.

I have played and ran a bbs that hosted these games and more.
Sigh the good old days.
If i recall you can find a lot of these "Internetized"..
Bre was my fav all though the LORD was fun too. I used to try to run a lot of IGM's for that one. Always got a kick out of how you would get married and have kids then use the kids as a way to save your life by sacrificing them hehe...
Remeber One called Planets? That was always fun....

Yeah I remember Planets, T.E.O.S. By the same person as LORD. Sort of a cross between LORD and Trade Wars.

I remember the gem exploit in LORD, gave myself millions of gold that way. It was a silly game though so I didn't feel too bad, especially since the SysOp showed it to me...

I was never a Dragon. I never had any involvement behind the scenes with any Ultimas or UO so I didn't really qualify. I was never on Compuserve either. Would have been neat though. Known a few though, have the website bookmarked.

Yep, ran a main Fido hub here in NY for 8 years. We had a bunch of those games . Tradewars was a favorite.
I still have the HD that the BBS was on.

I was a HUGE door game addict, especially since I ran my own 2-line BBS for several years. BRE and TW2002 were staples.
