Its a shame. I agree with you in that sense. But guildwars its just another way of paying off the monthly fee. The current GW game will not come down in price untill after the release of the next expansion. Reason being they make as much money as they can off the game to cover the loss of montlhy fees. In many folks opinions its just as much a MMORPG as WoW. It just has a different payment system to other MMO's.
