Marriage in UO

i love the replies, i got married a few months ago in uo, to a man i have been playing with for four years. We have never met in person, and only talked on the phone just a few times. But it was awesome, TnF Guild Lady Pandora the guild mistress did the cermony. It was beautiful. When i figure out how to use the image hosting i will put a few pic on.

I love the idea of pet blessings, Knighthoods what a wonderful idea.

Three of my characters have been married. (all are completely RP marriages).

The crafters husband died (left for another game) and then came back (during a free trial thing) and thought he could pick up the pieces and go on. Thankfully I have wonderful guildmates and he returned to the dead (back to the other game) without her having to speak much to him.

Auntie's husband has gone travelling (he quit UO) at least a dozen times. He's a friend of mine that easily gets bored when he has defeated/ bested/ whatever is new and improved. Generally she looks on it as he's off travelling to goodness knows where and that he isn't really dead.. even though she has been told many times that he IS dead. He comes back after 3 or 4 months.

Sandra is married to a guildmate and although they very rarely see each other now still RP a very loving relationship when both can be present at once. There are several stories of their early romance on our storyboards.

I always felt like a rl husband was enough for me ,I sure did'nt want to deal with one in UO !!:grin:

I have taken part in two weddings in uo...both on atlantic..was pretty cool but don't think it's for me...I play to have fun..not so someone can tell me to take out the trash or mow the lawn...hehe

Marriages will happen regardless how hard I try to stop them, but please remember "Power scrolls" make the best wedding gifts.
