Making new characters is so expensive

120 Magery - 10 million (usually 15)
120 Meditation - 3 million
120 Resisting Spells - 7 million
120 Wrestling - Had one (saved 1 million)
25 Stat Scroll - Had one (saved 5 million)
Piece of Britannian Zoo Armor - 6 million
3FCR & 12+ DCI Ring - Almost 21 million, but found a better one looking through my jewelry stocks

Total: 26 million spent (58 million could have been spent)

The final total will be higher when I finish figuring out what armor I need to buy. It will only be one or two because I am going to be using some of my regular one.

3fcr 12 dci ring sells for that much? ouch... try making a sampire the weapon alone can cost in upwards of 50 mill or more IF you can pry one from someones hands.

It was probably priced that high also because of the HCI it had, but I didn't care about that property and that ring was the only one I could find.

Reminds me of how impossible it is to create a newbie archer
With arrows from vendors costing anywhere from 20-40GP EACH, I'd hate to think how a new player gets started in that type of template.

Hey Adam just like most of us did back in the day. I mined my own ingots, made my own weapons, collected my own feathers and wood. Until I got to a certain level that I could afford to buy from other players. All new players should go through that humbling experience at lease once

Making arrows is not difficult or costly. It just takes a little effort to get feathers and boards. If it wasn't for the NPC prices resetting all the time there would be a good market of player sold arrows. But every couple months the vendors reset and people just buy all the arrows up. Then a few months later there is an arrow shortage. As long as the vendors don't reset players will eventually step in and start selling them.

It sounds like it's alot cheaper on Siege.

I wonder if no Item Insurance in Felucca would have a possitive effect on the Champ Spawns.

On Siege most guilds do get their own scrolls.

Aye, cheaper on Siege mainly because the competition isn't (normally) decked out in top end gear.

OMG, I started a character on LS, the same time I started a new one on Siege. WOW, is all I will say. Siege is at least 10x less expensive than the production shards.

To the archer starter...create a thief, then steal arrows from the rangers outside of Skara. LOL, I do that on Siege all the time. I believe arrows and bolts sell for 7 gp each...la
