Madman Dies!

I was spamming at the Luna bank on Lake Austin for much needed *cough*deco*cough* items when someone ran through yelling something about ‘…gathering upstairs!’ hmmm…

I trotted up the steps and found a knight in very cool looking blue armor named Martel Nevarra. He was telling us there was a madman loose named Murdok. Apparently, we needed to go kill him. Since there are plenty of madmen (and women) in Fel I wasn’t too impressed, but death and destruction is always my cup of tea so I thought I’d go to watch the fun.

Martel Nevarra had us go to Tram Brit gate. Once I got there, I left the gate to take a look around at all the bodies. I was immediately dismounted, ‘stunned by a colossal blow’ - and died.

I had to go back and find out what killed me. It turned out to be the madman himself – Murdok. This Murdok knew how to have fun!

Oh I was liking this guy! He was a bomb throwing ninja something-or-other. In short, a really bad dude with nasty tricks up his sleeve! Errr… boot… I was impressed!

…But the one/two hit kills started irritating me - big time. I won’t even mention the res kills. A guild mate of mine said he died twice as much (or more) as he would have pvp’ing all day. I had to agree one hundred percent to that. So in a weird reversal of values, the shrine became my friend…

…and a red (Murdok) was going to have to die. The fight was long and hard. Bodies everywhere.

In the end, he did die, but not without leaving those of use who fought him a very nice collection of – death robes!!

One "red" did this in Trammel, imagine letting us all loose.

I ran down there on Pacific as soon as I heard, but sadly, once again, it was all over before I got there. *sighs*
