Macro help
I need some help with setting up macros. Hubby and I would like to keep our 2d macros to play KR. We've erased all the pre-set macros and chose the legacy option.
We've tried to set up the macros like in 2d, combo of Alt or Ctrl with Key. But it takes a long time to respond, sometimes it doesn't respond at all. Is there a way to make it work? |

Re: Macro help
Personally I would wait. Because not all the commands are in the new client yet. I just keep downloading updates and messy around. Any serious gameplay, I switch back to 2D.
I too am having problems with the new macro system. But I have tried to make just the easier ones. IE bandages, spells. I have yet to make more complex macros. Heck I can not even get the new client to make one to open my bank, but I am trying to use the new client defaults both chat and macros.

Re: Macro help
One thing I found is that with 2-key macros, KR seems to need the keys pressed in order - like, it doesn't register if they hit simultaneously, or if the second key hits before the first. For example - I have my pet command macros as Alt-1, Alt-2, Alt-3, etc. So to invoke my all kill macro, I have to consciously hit the alt key before I hit the 2 key, as in - alt - pause - 2. Not a long pause - just a deliberate one-before-the-other.
It's hard to explain but I've definitely noticed that if I don't do that, sometimes the macro is unresponsive. I reported it as a bug long ago, but who knows. It may be working as designed. Not sure. I don't like it, though. ![]()

Re: Macro help
We'll try that. Thanks for the tip Kit. Hope it is a bug.
