Lumberjacking...

Yeah, its just like mining ore; unique spots to each shard.

I think I saw a wood runebook in one of the TLT houses that had a few spots for higher end wood. My LJer is still sadly sitting at just under 95

Wish there were an easier way to train it an the Motherlode.... *sniff*

If you can get ahold of Melisande's hatchet/axe, you can start lj'ing the new wood types kettle.

Edit that... you did say under 95.

You can train lumberjacking at the Motherlode areas with a golem+poison axe. As for trees to gain, not sure if any of the spots have trees or if it would even be worth trying to hack for gains. Side note, that I love to add... a charmed Arctic ogre lord by spellweaving still has 100% poison resist and you can use a guildmates AOL if you work it right.

LJ is on my crafter with no melee skills and only around 70 Magery. Given, I probably coulda finagled something to train it there but Im not all that worried. I grab my GGSs when they come.

As far as Mels Hatchet, I thought that was pretty expensive piece, no? Want to say that last I saw it it was up over 3 mil...maybe more like 8...

Oh I didn't know they were expensive. I got mine free, but it did take a lot of trips to Mel's.

mel's hatchet is much lower on LS & Pac at about 800k.

Hmmmm, mayhaps I saw it on a vendor who wanted to gouge...or the last time I saw it may have been less than a month after ML came out...

Ill have to go and peek around to see if I can find one. 800k-ish sounds much more reasonable...
