Ok so I been chopping til my fingers want to fall off. I've found plenty of wood, yew,ash and oak, switches, bark, fungi, and parasitic plants. Even a couple amber but where in the heck are bloodwood heartwood and frostwood trees?

I believe you must me a gm lumberjack to have a chance in finding them. Sorry, I dont have any special tree runes marked.

Then its just a matter of finding the right tree. Good luck Merth, hopefully someone has a tree rune library you can use.

Most of the spots I learned I got by just going all over, alllll over, chopping six times a tree to see what the wood is and letting it stay on ground unless it was a wood I wanted. Then any of the yew (great for bows), heartwood, bloodwood and frostwood i marked.

When you're looking for trees, it works better if you don't keep the rejected wood so you can check massive areas faster.

Another great thing to use is UOAuto-Map. You can drop your own markers anywhere on the map by left clicking and selecting "Add Location" I think. Just be careful because the marker will be exactly where you left-clicked.
