lol It took me 3 1/2 full days from 50 Kev, wasn't talking about skill gain :[ Meaning the delay from when you took your axe to the tree until the logs appeared in your backpack is MUCH MUCH faster now. I did the golem thing too.

did I hear correctly that they fixed the golem thing so u can no longer gain alot taht way???

I heard they were fixing it, I haven't tried it yet but I have seen people doing it.

I did the golem thing last week and it slooooowed down at 97 .... but if you go out chopping wood I think it'll go faster cause you swing at trees so much faster now than at the golem, the pause isnt there anymore.

I've now decided that my LJ needs magery to mark places... even though i havnt found any worthy of marking, so I'm spending ML day 2 on a boat with a SC mage weap.

ok I wil try chopping trees again and see what happens

30k+ Logs chopped and I got my first brilliant amber!
No blood, heart or frostwood yet to report.

I've been lumberjacking since 3 hours or so after the publish hit. Still no Frostwood. Stucky I'll sneak you places if you hit Frostwood before me! PS. I LJ'd in Trammel for 1/2 hour and then went back to Felucca so yeah.. And I'm a human for the 12039480238th time. I need help lol

You're my hero, I'm starting the quest for logs back up now... my hubbie took me out to a bar lastnight at 9:30pm to lure me from the computer. This is only after my best friend was called in for help to gather the logs i'd left on the floor and he decided once he saw my forest to kill me and take my axe away for my own good.
Anyhoo, I'm up now and mostly sober so I'm back to chopping and trust me if i find anything I'll be back here doing a happy dance. I found a second amber yesterday about 5 mins after the first so I'm at 2! wooo heheh still no good wood so if' you're going anywhere near cove fel dont bother. Also lj'd Umbra for a change too... figured blue trees might keep me sane... wrong. Also the sap of sosaria tree's got nuffin. I'm tryin to switch it up a bit only place i havnt taken a break to is tokono.

I am up to 80 something lumberjacking and 95.4 mining.

For when I need a break I am working carpentry and tinkering!
(all of this because I only updated one account and my main mule was on the other account... but no character on the other account can kill anything except my t-hunter who barely lives through a lvl 4... annnny way...)
I am one of those people who hate working skills too. Dear god I am loosing my ever loving mind.
Not one gem. Not one special thing from a tree besides some oak... not even any ash yet... and I couldn't make that oak into boards untill I worked my carpentry for another couple of hours... without a UOA "make last" macro...
*grumbles*
I wish they wouldn't have made everything require GM skill... maybe the best chance at GM but gosh... give us freshly born characters a break eh?

The boards thing is a real pain in the butt. All I can think now is that maybe I need carpentry or something to get the new higher woods. I've seriously only gotten up to yew... and that one yew tree (that I cant damn find again cause I hit it within my first 10 minutes of jacking and didnt mark) is now hiding from me. (die tree die).
My totals for yesterday were ridiculus, my 30k boards was grossly understated once they were collected off the floor and back at my house and it really almost makes me sick that I havnt found ANYTHING that I want. I mean really, I was out at the bar lastnight and friends said "whats wrong Chrissy?" and I'm like welllllllll..... So now they all know about lumberjacking in an online game they've never heard of cause I was really defeated by uo yesterday that I found nothing.
Today's my last day I'm wasting on it, after that I'll wait till some rune library has a bunch of spots cause seriously I've given it my all.

Well I did the golem thing last night and went from 97.3 to 99.7 in about 2 and a half hours so it looks like the golem thing still works
I gained more last night then I did all last week
