The west area in your red rectangle si the SAME place I use to tame hiryus. walk em up and down the coast. Learned REAL quick to walk, not ride a horse.

And another thing that annoys me. No matter what price you say you paid for something, someone will always say, "Well I got something way better for 100gp." Just because someone else got a steal of a deal, doesn't mean that you got ripped off. All it means is that someone paid far less for something than it was actually worth, so either that seller got ripped off, or he/she didn't care, or they were doing the buyer a favour... /rant

Just out of curiosity, I calculated the odds of finding a beetle that good, and this is just the resists, nothing else included. The odds are, if I've done my math correctly, 1 in 2718. So yes, that is a pretty exceptional beetle...

Resists are nowhere near as good as Plague's but they are decent, and all round it is the best beetle I have ever tamed. I am trying to improve on it so I can sell it, as I need the gold for a special purchase, but so far no luck. I've come close with a couple, but I have found nothing better imo.

Ahh, I was thinking he meant.. that the Hiryu has a nasty damaging dismount. I just wanted to be certain before I ever tried it. Because my happy ass would definatlely have been on my ethie.

I pair him together with Melanie, my bake, for pvp. Now that Melanie is fully trained they are doing quite well.



I took them out yesterday and ambushed Martell and ReDiKuLoUs (spelling and combination of upper and lower case are probably wrong...). Then the two of them got together with someone else and nailed me. It was kinda my fault though. I was hidden, and I knew they were coming for me, and that they knew where I was, but did I move? I just sat there until they were prepared and revealed me. Not one of my brighter moments...

edit: The more I look at Plague, the more I like him. He may well be better than the other two in my top three ever. That 170 dexterity hasn't been mentioned yet, but that is max for a beetle as well, and that is a very big deal on a beetle.
