lol... my typing teacher would be mad

I just looked down at my hands and I realized UO ruined my typing skills.

My left hand fingers are automatically resting on my macro keys now instead of ASDF.

Yup my highschool typing teacher won't be happy

But where to they go to when you want to talk to someone in game?

I found chatting in game, on icq and irc did wonders for my touch typing.

o gawd all my freind tell me i type really fast, also i can touchtype without even looking at the screen. I never learnt how to properly type so my fingers just rest where they want to ^.^ its great when you can sit and just write an essay in double quick time with very few mistakes ^.^ *giggle* just once i get into the swing of typeing something im off!

I remember when I couldnt type at all. Had to use my 2 index fingers and poke at a single key...wait a minute while I found the next letter to hit. How terrible that was! Now I can just find the homerow, as my high school teacher put it, start to type and stare at the television instead of the computer monitor. Usually I can correct a mistake without having to look at the monitor. Its nice to be able to complete something like a 200 word essay in less than 5 minutes instead of 30mins to an hour.

That perty much describes me. Now I can even change the song on my iPod whilst I type with both hands! How? My nose! (And im not kidding

hehehe, yeah my hands pretty much rest where they want to and I can type inda fast, but Im usually looking at the keyboard while I do it.

Lol, everyone who sees me type thinks I type strangely- I type fast, but I only ever use my left hand.

I actually type a lot slower if I try to type with both hands. It makes no sense since I'm strongely right handed
