Some one has posted some thing AT LAST over on Stratics from the Maryland,town hall meeting.

and its of particular interest to all us house deco/designers out there ....rubs hands

I was at the Maryland town hall (sorry its taken me so long to post this) I asked the devs there two housing questions. One was if they were going to be getting rid of the "shadow" leaves that show up when you have a heritage tree placed on the floor above. (darkscribe seemed amazed that i had designed a house with a basement ) Also I asked something that popped into my head there. Some of the Decoing I do, and im sure ya'll do to is dependent on where the graphic is positioned in relation to its "handle". Basically where the artwork appears on the tile. Some items are on the lower right corner, some centered, some are upper left, etc.

As far as the first thing they said they were going to look into it . But for the second I didnt really get a clear answer, and they only had a back up of Pacific at the townhall so i couldnt get them to run to my house and check. I will try to post it in the FoF questions thread to see if i can get a better answer.

Also good news for house designers! I was looking at the KR screenshots and one of them has a player house and you can see the Goza stairs are still there!

That's funny about Darkscribe and basements, my own house has a basement. i don't have trees, but i do know what you are talking about. One of my favorite houses to go look at in game has that problem. Several trees on the second floor that "shadow" the basement.

Thank you for asking that question, ValenOfAtlantic ~~ it had crossed my mind, also, but with everyone insisting that KR is simply a 'redraw' and nothing is actually changing (and because too many times people get jumped on for asking what others deem trivial questions) I dismissed it as a wait and see. Hopefully all of us won't have too much rearranging to do.

What I like about the redraw of the goza mats is how the weave is discernable. Now, if we could just get them to lose or at least soften those borders.

Something else i just noticed in that picture. It looks like the stone "columns" at at the front gate actually have little balls on pedestals on top of them. I wonder if that is a new wall piece or if its just the new graphic for a crystal ball?? (prolly singing ball from the color)

WOW! I never noticed until now, but if the potted plants in that house are the old Christmas gifts, then the ugliest ones just got much better looking, but the pretty foxglove just got extremely uglier! This might alter prices, supply and demand on the different types of potted plants. I love that the orfluer and the scraggly green one are looking excellent, but the foxglove is a disappointment. I wonder what the other two will look like? I would love to see a whispering rose in UO:KR too!

Are you sure that's a player house? It has a tapestry I've never seen before, plus it has no house sign, and it has filled bookcases. I'm glad to see the broken staircases not being affected by UO:KR.

It is a Dev's house, as it has a full book shelf in it. Which I would love to see in UOKR...

i don't think it's a singing ball, all three houses in that screen shot have them.
Edit to add ~~ OH MY, is that a house sign i see on the SIDE of the house in front of the main house the shot is of???? Down by the words Ultima Online.
