Land Avalibility

I played UO from 98 to 2001 and was just wondering how hard it is now to place a house? Back then land was almost impossible to get has that changed and its easy to place a house?

Re: Land Avalibility

Yea, it all depends on shard, to be honest
The quieter shards, yes, you can place large plots/homes. (Lake Austin for example, Legends perhaps)

Re: Land Avalibility

Yes, Mondain's Legacy will have all the pertinent current content other than the new client (KR), and you will have access to all lands/dungeons/etc. As far as the housing, others have covered it. I have seen very few shards where you can't find SOMETHING, but the less populated shards will have more housing options. If you don't mind a smaller place, or a place in Fel, it shouldn't be too difficult to locate something.

On Cats, evertime I find 13x or bigger, I mark a rune on the corner of the spot where the biggest plot will fit. I then go to Luna and sell the rune for 150k. I do it at least twice a week. Always carry a house placement tool. The spots are there, you just gotta look.
BTW, I have never scammed anyone. I always deliver what I say I wil.

Re: Land Avalibility

Housespots are easy on most shards... Specially Fel side.. can easily find 18x18 there

Re: Land Avalibility

found places on Sonoma where house had been, but now they empty, many places look like large plots in tram, to 18x18 in Malas, I'm sure there is lots of space in Fel.

D-d-d-depends on da shard. Legends is Oklahoma 1898 during the great land grab.

Just today, I sign on and find m-m-me house moved again, as my d-d-daughters do dat once in awhile, move...and not tell me. I j-j-just sign on, and dey don't tell me where dey went. So I g-g-got to just look around till I find me home.
