I figured someone up say "I have not problem" Anyway, crashing out is a serious problem! But if its okay to you...I can not recall the last time 2D crashed out. Guess I will wait for SA and try it again when it get released. Heck maybe they will actually sell it in a box and we can get some new players!

Re: KR and 2D

Crashing certainly is a serious issue, but I just learn to deal with it when it happens.

It does have other problems, some gumps don't work, some quests don't work, some house customizing is buggy (rarely), and there are many more but I don't count those as too terrible. When I need to I just switch to 2D and do it and switch back.

One other thing that bugs the heck out of me about KR is that placing and stacking items is 100 times harder.

Can I ask why even bother with it then? I am not hating on KR, I have tried it, I like some features but...it really is not that much nicer (as far as graphics go, yes that is just an opinion so I guess they could be awesome to some people), not enough to totally switch over, at least for me. And was not KR suppose to make everyone want to switch over, so Mythic could focus on one client? Now we going to have 2 clients from now on? But that is not extra work?

I bother with it because the two clients are graphically like comparing a crayon drawing on the refrigerator to a photograph. At least I think so and it is so much easier to use than 2D. 2D for me is slower and much more choppy, I have to use 2 other antiquated programs to come close to the functionality of KR, one of which I would have to buy more keys for when I play my other accounts, and the visual options which I don't find in 2D. In KR I can scroll out really far something like tripple the distance or scroll in twice as close for small work when decorating and such.

There are a lot of good things about the 2D version as well compared to KR like stability, placing/stacking items, and and some of the graphics make more sense (Exodus Minions look like robots in 2D and wraiths in KR). But since I came back using KR I have grown accustomed to it and figure they will eventually work out the kinks.
