King of crashes

Anyone else have this problem with the beta:

I log in, select my shard, and my character. Here's where the problem starts, as the world is loading I'm logged in for maybe 2-3 seconds, then I get the windows message that an error has occured and I can either send an error report, or not. Either way, I've sent and not sent and eventually KR just closes. Anyone else have this problem? It's happened EVERY time i've tried to log into KR. I've tried multiple things to remedy this, reinstalling it, selecting different shards, creating a new char, all resulted in this same "crash." My next step is to try and download it again... ugh. I'd like to avoid that, so anyone have any feedback?

I wondered if anyone else was having that problem... Kellen is unable to log in on his machine... he's very frustrated.

Well, I'm just glad I wasn't alone in this problem! I've properly submitted this bug, so I'm sure they'll look into it!

Found this thread in Stratics about a poster having problems getting the game to load. Not really sure if it's what's happening to you guys.

I'm having an issue getting the game to load. It patches and then gives me this message : The procedure entry point D3DPERF_SetOptions could not be located in the dynamic link library d3d9.dll.
I saw that someone else asked this question on one of the other links and it just got pushed aside. Can anyone help with this?

Sounds like a DirectX issue - are you running at least DirectX 9?

It might be an Intel video graphics issue if you constantly crash upon entering UO.... the team was aware there was a crashing issue since last patch in beta but have made no comment to anyone regarding it.

I can get in...I just don't stay long. I crash constantly. The game is totally unplayable for me. It sometimes resets my computer instead of just locking up and crashing.

I've sent in bug reports but of course haven't heard anything. Glad the NDA is lifted finally.

i can get to the patch page but then get the mircosoft error and it all shuts down

Well haven't had the crash problem. Can log in (until last night, haven't tried this evening yet) with no problem. I haven't figured out how to talk in guild chat or party chat
