I placed my little thatched cottage down directly west of umbra somewhere. Now i cant find it

Is there anyway i can teleport to my house or find out where it is?


Also.... How do people make these recall runes ive seen lying around everywhere? Some people have them linked to their houses, maybe i can do something similar for my house?



And... how do i check if a monster is too tough for me easily? (or is way below my lvl etc.)



Aswell.... I got a map from the wizard at Haven. A treasure map pointing to somewhere in Trammel i think.
How do i relate whats on the map to the ingame map??

Ok i figured out how to use the treasure map that i got from the wizard in haven.

But its weird, when i dig up the treasure all thats in the box are some reagents and another map pointing somewhere else.

So i went to that place and dug up another chest and thats more reagents and another map..

do i have to keep digging up chests forever to get that wizard in haven to talk to me again?

(got owned by an ettin trying to get to the third chest. ( )

Hmm, weird, maybe there's another part to the quest to get him to talk to you that you haven't done? Unless he did send you on a scavenger hunt, I don't think I've done that quest.

Yikes! I hope you found your house again? As I was reading thru this thread I was hoping you hadn't placed a house yet. Because I was going to give you just that advice on making sure you could find it again!
Blank runes are bought at mages in town. Or just pick up one of those you find laying on the ground at the bank =P. Since they can be remarked/reused to a new location.
With magery spell you can mark it for the spot you want *your house*. Since you have money now I would ask at bank for anyone selling a spell book with all the spells in it. If your magery skill isn't high enough to cast mark spell, you maybe able to cast the spell from a mark spell scroll. Casting from a scroll you able to cast a spell two lvls above your skill lvl I believe.
But if your paladin will not be using magery, you can find a kind soul to mark a rune at your house for you. You will be able to use the rune with paladin spell to get there.
Since your at luna, buy rune books to put your house rune in. The rune books are blessed like your spell books. So you won't lose it. You may also be able to find rune books for sale on vendors that have runes to all the major towns and dungeons in them. Very helpful.
If so I would be buy couple sets. Ones to carry on you and ones to lock down in your house for your other characters.
