How much is the smallest type of house likely to cost me, and do they cost per day or just a one off payment for the deed?

As a young player i'll be immune to getting attacked on the way to Malas right? I think i read somewhere that creatures dont aggro towards young players.

Last thing... insurance. Where would i purchase that from, and is it necessary immediately while i still have young player status? (considering the amount of times im likely to die and wont lose anything)

Ok. Here is the scoop on insurance, you click your character once, it will bring up a list of things, you click on "auto renew insurance" to turn it on, so that it isnt just a 1 time thing. Now you will click "toggle insurance" or whatever it is exactly, its right above where it should say now "cancel renewing insurance" it will bring up a circular cursor, then you click on the items you want to insure. I wouldnt waste it right now, as you are still young and dont have to worry bout losing your stuff, and chances are its not that great of stuff yet anyways.

There is nothing on the way to the gate that can kill you. Lizardmen are very low level creatures, so you should have no problem with them.

Once you use your advanced character token, you will no longer be a young player, so I would wait on that until your time is officially done, to get the most out of learning how to play the game..

Homes are a 1 time fee. The prices are pretty cheap, I believe like a 7x7 plot or something like that is under 30k. There are also classic non customizable houses too, that are set prices. I am not too sure, as I havent placed a house in years.. First thing you need to do is find a provisioner and buy a house placement tool, they are like 650 gold, then click on it and you can see how much prices are. there are 3 styles, classic, 2 story customizable, and 3 story customizable. Once you get a house, then you can store stuff in it. but remember to lock stuff down. You can lock stuff down by saying "i wish to secure this" then to release it you say "i wish to release this" if you dont do this, your stuff will disappear. Try to get a couple of bags or boxes so you dont have to individually lock everything down, you can just lock the bag.

Can i set things in my house so that any of my alts can pick them up and take them?

EG. I want to place the character advancement token in my paladins house, and then i can bring my tamer over and he can pick it up.

Well here is the cool thing. Every character on that account "owns" the house, so you can access everything in it, with all 6 characters on that account.

A quick tip for your tamer. You can do 2 types of tamers, although I suggest a mage/tamer. Your token will give you taming, lore, veterinary, magery, (I cant remember exactly, so look it up first) either eval intelligence or meditation. Now heres the thing, before applying your token to your tamer, make a character with 50 in 1 of those skills, the one that isnt offered with the token. It will help later when building your skills. You know what I mean?

i cannot seem to place the house anywhere.

there are locations outside of luna (other houses etc around) that arent occupied by anything. but when i try and place the ghost image of the house it says im not allowed to place it there.

cant i place houses near towns or something?

also what constitutes (sp) an obstruction to placing the building? do flowers, 1 yellow speck on the ground, a rabbit running near the place etc..

i'm a bit wary of going too far away from luna to other areas in the game incase i place my house somewhere where really high lvl creatures are. (or higher than my character anyway)


also, how do i train up strength? (i see a lot of items need that requirement, plate mail etc)

You may have to venture out away from the really close areas as they have probably already been maximized with housing possibilities. What I did was go to umbra, go to the north west road, and just start going outwards, first on the road, then south of the road. There is housing available out there, you just have to really look for it.

You build up strength just by working skills and playing. You can only get I believe 15 stat (str dex int) in 1 day, so if you want to gain str right away, lock the other 2 with the arrows. It takes a bit to get maxxed out. Remember as a Paladin, you will be swinging a weapon, so you will want at a minimum 100 dex. You can get away with about 100 str, and if you are an elf you get 20 free mana on top of your intelligence. So you just gotta work it out, either with items and saving up for a stat scroll (raises your maximum possible stat points from 225, to 230 235 250 245 250, you missed out on the opp. to get the free 5 from AOS) The scrolls dont stack, so dont buy 5 +5 scrolls. Save up for like a 20+ they usually go from 500k-1m depending on the market that day.

Another question...

Whilst i had cash on the hip in Luna i had a look at some of the vendors selling stuff.
There are billions of them and looking at them ive got no idea what any of it means. (Bods, Doom rares, PS stuff etc.. etc..).
Is there anything i can click on in the game that allows me to specifically find vendors that sell one particular type of item (eg. rings) etc ?


And... Also how do i trade with people. The person that bought my xfer token had to trade with me because i couldnt find an option when i left clicked on them? :/

Also, What sort of weapon do you recommend? There seem to be slayers, undead slayers and all sorts of other stuff. I aint gotta clue what im supposed to be using really. (Except knowing i want to swing a sword and hold a shield)

And.....(lol)...... you said before that i need armour with high DCI (or something similar to that) but theres billions of armour types.. horned, un-horned etc.. etc.. etc.. I cant wear plate because my strength is too low so what types should i be looking for in amongst all those trillions of vendor people?

While im at it....... What stats should i be looking for on rings and bracelets? (they seem to be the easiest for me to wear. quite expensive some of them though.)

The only way to find a vendor you like is to go and look. Some people may be able to recommend one to find what you are looking for.

Being in training, you don't have to worry a ton about slayers and such. Right now just find a weapon that swings fast so you can train that much quicker.

The ultimate armor would be all 70s in resists (those numbers on the far right side of your stat bar info) with lots of luck and other things added into them. Until you can get your uber-armor tho, look for something to keep you alive while you train. If you are fighting things like the horde minions, look for a suit with physical resist. As you work your way up the monster ladder, you can switch armor bits around to adjust the resists according to what you are fighting.

Just drag what you want to trade and drop it on the other persons avatar, that should bring up the trade box with whatever you are trading already in it.

u can drop an item on anyone just make sure u do not check the little diamond by your name till they put the gold or check in the tradewindow. If u check your diamond before they put the gold in the window, then they can check their diamond and take the item from you without paying for it
