The game you purchased is a copy of
UO 2D, this client will work on your computer.
SA for short MAY require the KR client. Some have said yes, some have said no the finer details have yet to be confirmed. Stygian Abyss is the new expansion for
UO! It is not currently for sale and the release date is unknown. They pushed the release to an unknown date so they could work on the Kingdom Reborn client.

My main question, will my laptop be able to run KR well? It's a Dell 8500 w/ 2.4GHz P4, 1gig RAM, 64mb GeForce 4 Ti4200GO. I figured it would run the 2D client flawlessly, but I am worried about the KR update. The laptop runs World of Warcraft "ok" with everything turned all the way down. I was hoping to have a smoother experience with this title.

2D will work flawlessly as you say, KR well its a bit hit and miss, the client is free to download so all I suggest is try it. If it runs
WoW thats a start so you may be able to play KR!

Yes and no, 2D will run in whatever because the game window is set to 800x600 or 640x480 the blackness will just surround it. Though if you go full screen it will stretch as widescreen was not thought of on computer monitors 10 years ago.
KR on the other hand will not either, not that I have found anyway, I have a desktop resolution of 1680x1050 and when I play it, I get black at the left and right of the screen.
