1) One we really don't need Thread Number 1,000,000,000,001 asking this.

2) No we can't have both, we don't even need both.

3) EA/Mythic already said 2d would go away well after the UO:SA release, which at this point looks to come late this fall, sometime early next year. Oct 07-Jan 08. 2d won't be going anywhere until well after the release of UO:SA unless they get their magic 90% switch before then.

4) If 90% of players switch, hell really if 80% do, 2d should die the death.

But really, there is no need for all this "OMG, PLEASE DONT TAKE AWAY 2d" panic that is going on, YET

We're not even remotely close to deciding when we want to do this. It's certainly not going to be at the same time or shortly after KR launch, unless spontaneously and unanimously, the playerbase switches to KR.

And if both remain the GAME will most likely die. If there isnt a forced switch players will be split, and KR, being unable to use a good portion of its potential, will languish for a while before being dropped, afterwhich the plug will most likely be pulled on UO after a short while due to massive lack of investor and higher-up confidence in the game, because such a massive investment in it failed ("the largest since the beginning of UO" as has been pointed out many times).

KR is most likely "make or break" for the game, and it vanishing entirely or not being allowed to move forward will probably give the same effect. So which would you rather have? UO with an even lower subscriber base (because some people just won't budge for any reason) but solid support, or no UO at all?

Known Issues:

- Jewelry is displaying double stats
- Items stacked over a certain height in some houses disappear

- Macros aren't saving
- There are many issues with placing items on the ground
- Ethereal mounts display as imps

- On the character creation, the female elf is only a half-elf
- Various items, when equipped, can deform the avatar on the paperdoll
- Scroll bars are buggy
- Monk robes are invisible
- Custom Housing is not fully implemented
- Dead elves become imps
- Walruses and snow leopards have multicolored legs
- The fur sarong displays as a brown chest plate
- Players are unable to access their backpack in Necro form
- Dyed items lose their hue when equipped
- Can't walk on bed of nails
- The Radar map does not track players' movement
- Curtains are broken
- Houses load to slow after recalling causing players to be stuck in the foundation
- Flashing reindeers are invisible
- The "Customize Skills" tab does not save
- Rare plants are not hued correctly (white and black plants are green)
- Players report difficulty mining

Crash Bugs

- Players crash logging out one shard and logging into another
- Players are reporting crashing while taming a gaman in Tokuno
- Crash in tutorial reported at the iron gate
- After a player crashes they are unable to log back into game

I agree wit the questionair thing, Sounds like a plan really but :\
The only reason why I am dis liking KR is some of the stuff looks pretty bad.. And its laggy to all holey heck...
