This is an actual "disorder" about mmo's. I am one of these addicted persons I think, but all the same, I have no problem going to work, maintaining cleanliness, etc. I find UO to be different than nearly anything I have played or done. *taps vein in preparation for hit UO fix*

Im addicted but once in awhile I loose interest for a few days. This usually happens when somthing other than UO I really like happens.

Ex: New Resident Evil game coming out in November
I will prolly not play for about a week and play this game until I beat it. I love UO because I "CAN'T" beat it. Never ending story.

I have that same "every few days" thing. I'll log on, and say, nah, not today. I think the story is an example of a really bad situation, but I have a hard time believing "most" UO players play like this. We all have lives, kids, family, jobs, chores, whatever. I've never neglected any of that for UO. I do play everyday about 2-3 hours after work, and more on weekends, so maybe I'm not exactly a "power gamer."
MMO's are great fun, as long as you have the power to walk away from it every so often and remember that there's a world outside of the pixel crack.
