I don't ever login on that shard. So I look down my list, check the absolute last one on the list of connection and lo, I had a char on there. Then lo again he's in a faction. I get a little message: you have been elected.... WHA? Then I check my title. I vaguely remember the other leader being "Aragorn."

So I went to the base, walking the whole way from Britain. Nobody in factions meets me as I go. And inside the SL base, I check the stone. I can only set tithes and distribute gold. But since another faction has all the towns, I can't distribute silver.

Um. Is there a chat thingie for factions?

You can send out a faction message to your faction, but not to others. I am not 100% sure on how to do it, but I think you type in "faction message" and a command comes up and you can type it out, kinda like guild chat.
