I actually call it single tile isle. Because you have 1-3 tiles to move on that isle(problem is the chest blocks some of them.
SIMPLEST way to do it, is use a boat, dig up the map while your still on the boat. Then before it pops, say back(sailing away from the island) and hide.
Then slowly sail in and provoke/archer. Becareful of the monsters teleporting on the boat.

If you tell us the name of the map we can tell you what level it is btw. Devious-5, Ingenious-6, Clever-4, Adept-3, expert-2 plain-1.

I'm trying to think if it was clever, or adept. It should be either of those ones, cause I decoded it when I was still trying to GM carto.

Okay, so I can dig it up while on the boat, but I can't loot?

nope but jst hope on the island after you pop it. Stand on the west part of the island(with the tree), for some reason you can't loot from the east side.
Probably will have to wait for the corpses to decay.

I've never had the pleasure of getting that map. Not sure how I'd handle it.

My friend and I used to tag team the map locations, he was a peacer/t hunter, I would bring my tamer, and we would end up getting the stuff but after a long while, especially the lvl 6s. Well I thought one day, maybe honor myself and then do it, and it worked. So he worked up honor on his hunter, and also put mining on it, so he could stand 5 tiles away, and he was able to solo the lvl 6s without dying. You can also hide on the last swing, if your hiding is high enough to not have to worry about it failing at the worst time. I dont want to count on that though, so I prefer the Honor thy self method

If you have the timing down to a T(like I do =Þ) you can just use magery to hide, or even recall out.

Just get a couple of boats and have the digger go invis at the right time and those on the boats use archery and magery to kill the spawn.

I have personally never dug it

My method was for solo level 6 but if a team then yep just have the team members on a boat.
and yep most t-hunters start digging then precast invis and when the full chest appears simply invis. after the spawn is dead then it is very rare for a monster appearing from a chest to attack straight away so simply invis and let the team kill it.
