Thought I'd try something new. And I'm using one of my advance char tokens. It's gonna give me:

85 lockpicking
85 cartography
85 peace
70 music
70 magery

100 str 100 int 25 dex

So what else should I put on it. And what should I put in when I start my new char? We're thinking discord instead of peace, but if it's already on there then we're using peace. Should I still put discord in? W're also putting eval.

Oh and I only have 700 points.

Purely depends on how you plan to take care of the nasties that spawn...

If your going to fly solo then provo would be better than discord, but discord is very useful too.

Just for peace of mind though, my crafter solos lvl 6s with just magery (at 110) so you can basically pick whichever one looks more appealing to you.

My T-Hunter has Elder Music Peace Provoke Magery. Lockpick, and Cartography are GM and the rest of the points (she has 720) are in Meditation.
While it is hard to solo some of the higher chests at times (lvl 6 especially) with the proper slayer instrument she is still able to fair quite nicely.

ya i think flutter has the right idea... i did my t hunter wrong and put stealing/stealth on it so i can never kill the monsters from lvl 6 chests... i just grab the green bag and run. It kills me to think about the loot im leaving behide and i almost feel bad for the person that gonna walk up on the balrons and wryms walking around... but i guess it does put some excitement in their day.

I do have 720 cap, so just make it all GMs.
Switching Provoke to Discord won't do much unless your willing to bring it above GM Discord(will have some trouble discording Bloods and anything worth discording).

I made this template Pre Publish 16(long time ago), so GM Provoke was a 100% chance to provoke anything together and was not difficulty based. But right now it works pretty well. Can solo all levels of maps. I do know a lot of people drop eval or med for Fishing, had a few people drop Music and Provoke for fishing and spellweaving.

Okay I made my new char with 50 discord. Still not sure if we're gonna do that or the peace. Seems like a waste to just remove the 85 peace.

I'm not gonna be doing solo t-hunting. My boyfriend will be taking care of most of the tougher monsters for me.

Hmm, I don't have a treasure hunter, but I have a large amount of maps...all ranges. How much are they selling for now?

I have no idea. I hope they don't cost too much, I might need a lot to gm. We've never had a t-hunter before so everything's pretty new to us.

Hunt Daemon, Lich Lords and Cyclops(in Ilshenar).
You will get bunches of T Maps off all them. Cyclops and Titans are the best. Or if you want something better, do Daemons in the bottom level of Fire in Fel. Will get tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons of maps and gold.

If you were on GL or Cats, I could let you go threw the 200 or so T Maps I have on each shard and GM your cart that way.
But if you want to wait a week you can simply use 10 or so T Maps and GGS it.
99.5 is the stopping point for Cartography from World Maps. 95 is the stopping point for Lockpicking off GM tinkered chests.

To GM carto?

No need for maps... unless you want to do it that way.

Just buy scrolls and mapmakers pens. Starting at 85 carto you could start making world maps, or do the satyr discord* trick and make one of the lesser maps (whichever at the time gives you close to 50-60% chance at success BEFORE talisman bonus).

*if discorded you can take carto to GM off world maps

Same thing as Carto, and you WILL want to be discorded because dungeon hopping will take you no less than the rest of your life (ok, maybe a little exagerated, but it will atleast feel like it)

I'm just glad I don't have a crafter trying to return to a house anywhere you've been hunting.

Yeah leaving ancient wyrms lying around for others to stumble upon isn't very nice.

But I really don't mind.
I remember the first time I ever saw an "Ogre Lord". Omg I thought it was some sort of special spawn. I remember calling all my UO friends (all of them were new since the only people I had met hung out in town or in the local graveyard I got PK'd enough right there (ok not really I was always going grey for snooping in things I shouldn't) in town...) to ask them what this was? I didn't know about Stratics or anything else at that time. I just logged on and played mind you. There was a whole world of things I didn't know about. Treasure chests?? There were treasure chests? OMG... I saw them in dungeons but... I can dig them up?? Someone give me a shovel!


Anyhow to me the best part of the game is happening upon something that normally one wouldn't see then taking the initative to try to kill it. Fail. Then call some friends to help. Truely I wish there were rare MOBs we could happen upon in game like that. I really do.
