igfx graphics driver problem

Okay, so here is my situation:
Say I'm playing KR, Simcity 4, or a few other games... my drivers will crash and then recover. I know this is a fairly common problem with this driver, but I can seem to find a fix. It happened with my WoW free trial also. It's just a standard intel gfx driver on a few month old Gateway.

yeah, that's the only thing I can think is to setup my system to dual boot...
