I noticed a problem with the new checks, want to see if others have it also.

I die. Sometimes I die alot. Not the main part of the post, but it's fun to say.

Anyway I lost some insurance, went to the bank and hovered 2 seperate 1 million dollar checks. Both still said 1,000,000. I know I lost enough insurance for 3-4 deaths. I've notice this on other occasions but chalked it up to having spare gold loose in the bank. This time I did not have loose gold in the bank.

Ok, so I picked up both of the checks and dropped them back down in the bankbox, and then a new amount was reflected on one the checks. The new amount roughly reflected my insurance loss.

Before I report this as a bug I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this.

Or better, if any devs or EA/Mythic staff listening are aware of this issue.

Yup, it happens just as you describe. Who knows if and when it will be fixed.

Re: I noticed a problem with the new checks, want to see if others have it also.

I have always been afraid of losing insurance due to money being in check forms, so I always leave about 50k gold in non check form in my banks just incase. I know it takes up space, but its better to be on the safe side.

I've also noticed the checks don't refresh correctly until moved.

This is a potentially bad problem unless you move your checks every time you bank.

Best advice: do a balance check frequently when involved in high death activities until this is fixed.

I also make sure to leave 100k or more laying around in gold form. Just do not trust the banker to cover my butt.

It is not really a bug.
Just some things do not refresh before you move them.

Such things were introduced after AOS to keep data transfer lower and not lag people out with unnecessary data.
