Just FYI, this person is about to buy the larget rare collection. Nail's collection. Not sure what will happen to these items but its a sad day.

That sucks, I hope it doesn't all show up on vendors in the next couple of weeks as the next round of dupes.

This is why true rares should have a bit of code that won't allow a duplicate to be created, it would prevent dupe-motivated and oriented sales, and we wouldn't have to worry about buying something from the days of old, because we'd know it was genuine.

Having to be concerned about locking something down or selling it because of scammers, hackers, and dupers has long been a concern for many, but dupers cause the most widespread problems, because they transcend and permeate across shards.

I recall seeing a screenshot of a bag filled with ornys, inquis, and AoF, to think that this bag, that was supposedly destroyed, was only the result of ONE duper/dupe attempt, frightens me to consider how many other items were victims of this...

...and how truly flooded the UO economy has become, with not just items, but over-saturated with gold to the point it makes it painful for new players...
