I tired to run KR today, 3 times it lagged by computer so bad I had to push the restart button on the computer. Control alt Del didn't even work it was so laggy. I looked at the loading screen for 5 minutes, when I got to the log on screen I had to 10 second between time i pushed the screen till the time is showed up on the screen. The mouse pointer never did show up. Since there was no mouse pointer I couldn't move. Most likely I will be deleting my NY town hall videos off You TUBE too since I can not in good conscience promote such a piece of dog crap.

I haven't tested it in a month, but the last time I did, I couldn't even get the login screen to show up.

You'd have to remove it via add/remove programs.

I have not had a single problem with KR, and actually think it will make pvp 5x better after a few more thing implemented.

That problem sucks- I can now login good..firsat time, but I loose connection at least three times before the game is stable. Hope they fix it.

Hit start button -> all programs -> EA games -> Ultima Online Kingdom Reborn -> scroll down to uninstall kingdom reborn. Done.

Many people are in the same situation as you. Another failure from EAMythic. While it runs for me, its not as stable or as fast as 2D.

I have tried to like this client. I have played it exclusivly on my main character since its general release and will continue until christmas. The stability/performance issues should have been ironed out by now. I will not uninstall it until christmas, which I have pegged for my personal goal for EAMythic to meet. If by then we still do not have a stable client like the 2D one is, I too plan to uninstall it.

The original poster, obviously feels that the new client is a failure (at least to them). So I posted that I know many people (personally at least 15 active players) and others from this board and other forums who are in the same fix. To me this implys a failure on EAMythics part because once a person uninstalls a client, its not too much longer until that person wonders why exactly they are paying money to EAMythic in the first place.

Once again this screwed up launch by EAMythic has and will continue to cost them p(l)ayers and the community as a whole is at a loss.

Personally I am tried of all the BS from EAMythic. Just tell your players what the heck is going on. Keeping the community informed would go along way to retaining the players and keeping the players at least not continously angry at them. But EAMythic continues to play these games we the community. "Soon, I will write it down, send in feedback," etc.

Just tells us for a change. Lay it out. Step by step. And if a problem comes up, tell us that too. If that means a delay, Hell I am an adult, if you tell me, there is a problem and it will cause a delay. While I might not like it, I can deal with it. Instead we get silence or the BS line if we tell you and we do not come through you get mad. This drives the community crazier then if they just come out and tell us exactly what is going on.

Just look at any blizzard product. I do not think any blizzard game has ever met its release date. Its done when they say its done. But they do give a release date, then they also tell you why the date has slipped. Is the blizzard community that mad at them? Some might be, but most know why there is a delay or any problems.

Just look at the current line with the 10th anniversary. The BIG TEN YEARS of an online game. This should be shouted from the highest mountain. We should have been celebrating all month with an event(s) to thank the players for 10 years.

What do we have? Silence, 9 days before the anniversary date.

Please do not tell me, "Well silly, its a surprise." Why? It is great when your are a child, guessing what you are getting. As an adult, not really. Most of my "adult" birthdays have been more about my nephews/neices then me. Kids just love cake and ice cream. But I have known exactly what I am getting for my birthday since I was on my own from the age of 17. So forgive me if I am tired of "surprises" from EAMythic.

The community should have been massively involved in this historic event, alas we have had little to celebrate.

Why did it run in beta and with every patch it get worst and worst? It is not like I havent tried 2 weeks ago I up graded my video card from Nvida 5200 with 128meg mem to a Nvida 7600 with 512 meg.
My computer has 1 gig of memory. a P4 2.4 gigherzt processer. I have no problems runing guildwars, counterstrike and other shooter games, a few of the newer onlinr games that where in beta dont rebember the names think it was linkage 2 and dragons and hobits.

I hear you both ,loud and clear,but as an admin, it would be wrong of me to post my personal feelings about all of this.I try to stay neutral in my own opinions and just post over what ever info i can glean [ negative and positive] from others places,so players can make up their own minds.

I will say this though,I also cannot play KR at present,which saddens me as I was looking forward to it just like everyone else.

As for the 10th anniversary,I am also amazed at the lack of 'hype' thats been given us as regards to what is intended.

Maybe EA/Mythic dont feel the need to let us know 10 days before?

I can only say from my personal pov,I still love UO enough, to put up with almost anything.

I just hope Christmas will be good UO wise for not just you and me Warsong,but the WHOLE playerbase .

I also love UO enough to keep playing. 2D THAT IS haha. Im tired of how everyone says "relax, kr isnt done yet". I agree that it isnt done, but as a matter of fact it has gone gold! I will play 2d 'til the day UO dies wich will not be long after the FAILURE kr has brought upon EA/Mythic. UO is going down and EVERYONE knows it. There are barely any players left, rarely any events and more and more bugs. KR is unplayable for most, and 2d is soon enough unsupported.

Well im sorry to hear that. I was hoping to find the client was working better by now. I havent been able to run it at all past the login screen, but I think there is an issue with AMD cpus. Ill just stick with 2D until they get it working. I kind of wish they could add back the 3D mode as an option.
