After 10 years it's hard to switchfrom 2d to 3d!

well im still having problems getting into the game because when i try activating my account it wont let me but i been charged like 8 dollers worth but not even activated lol

I was just over 9 years "old" when KR came out for beta. Once I decided to give it a go (after running it a few times and feeling so far out of my element that it wasn't fun to play), it took a solid month to figure out how to set everything up just the way I liked it - but now that I've learned the new interface, I absolutely 100% love it and wholeheartedly prefer it over 2D. It's so much more customizable and easy to use.

True, the client itself still has bugs that need to be worked out, but in terms of interface design and usability of design, I find KR to be fantastic.

I'm happy to say I spent my 10th anniversary in KR

i have one question i already know kr has friends list but did they put one on for ultima online in 2d??

Like Kit it took me a little bit to get the hang of UO:KR too. Around the same time I tried out the demos for LOTRO and WoW, the next time I tried UO:KR... I knew how to use KR, it was like those games.

After that UO:KR was easily. I wasn't thinking outside the UO:2D box... so to speak.

I've tried multiple times to get used to the KR client and IMO the graphics are < 2d. Fuzzy, they lack definition, proportions are off.

Nothin like diggin into the way back machine for a post...... but I never could stomache KR.... not to mention if I wanted to learn a whole new game play system I'd be playing WoW or some such junk..... I prefer 2d ..... besides KR was VERY laggy for me. Everytime I log in it's like I'm suddenly on dial up or something I'm so slow.... I tried the setting for classic graphics and all but still WAY too slow for me.....

I liked SOME bits of KR, but I to, didn't like the fuzzyness of the small items
Runes, rune books and other stuff like that.
