I wanted to do that Bedlam quest, not that I even know what I'm doing. I gathered up the unicorn rib, pixie legs and ki-rin brain, turned 'em in, but I could not even survive down in Bedlam long enough to reach that Gnosis fellow. So I am stuck with some blessed piece of paper and can't even finish the quest. This game's too freakin' hard, I think I'm about 5 inches away from deleting all my characters and throwing the game in the trash.

Maybe we could set a time to do this together? I've never done it, and would love to try! Maybe this Saturday night?

Îf you try to do it alone, you're in for a very hard time. These Quest were never designed for a single players but for groups. Experienced player can probably do it with 2 or 3 peeps, but my advise for you would be, going in there with a group of at least 5 people.

On second thought - I haven't been there with a greater dragon, so I don't know how one would perform down there.

Don't judge the game by Bedlam. Even the best of players get overwhelmed there pretty easily.

I always go in a group of at least two, myself as a mage, and my partner as a tamer with at least a cu sidhe (we have dragons now, but haven't tried them there yet), and we usually leave with a nice collection of death robes.

So unless you have that all 70's resist armor as well as undead slayer, fire based weapon or an undead slayer spellbook AND friends to go with, I'd steer clear of Bedlam for now.

It would be nice if they mentioned how difficult the quests are when you accept them. Some, like the Dread Horn quest or the Effusion quest or the Bedlam chain are EXTREMELY difficult, and nearly impossible to do alone. Others (slay a few mongbats) are very easy, and there is no way to tell the difference unless you know how they scale the rewards.

Its nice to max your skills out. Yet, the appeal of the game early on, and should still be so, is to work and play well with others.

Look into a hunting group. I know that there used to be a weekly hunting party on Atlantic, that members from any guild or freelancers could join in on, touring a different dungeon each week.

I myself don't like playing by myself, but will.

Effusion is quite hard, but Bedlam is ok when you go there with two others.
Best bet is a tamer or two and someone with discordance who can lure down the monsters to the entrance.

Devil, if you ever want to we can take you along on one peerless on Drachenfels (don't have to xfer, just build a semi-decent one with crappy armour), and you'll see that it isn't that hard once you have done a couple.

Devil dont give up, this game is designed so that you interact with people to go on hunts. Look around and find the folks that you want to hunt with. What shard are you on, if it catskills come to haven and ask for me I havent been to bedlam in a while.

I've been to Bedlam with a lot of ppl, and gotten wiped out. The champ in there is the only one I haven't ever been able to finish. It's a nightmare! lol

I have taken my greater to Bedlam, it didnt help much solo, cant vet quick enough, it's great for one on one or even one on two but anymore than that and it become increasingly difficult to keep myself and the greater alive,,best bet is to go in a group

I was actually going to take Farsight and Cream to Bedlam this weekend sometime, maybe we should just make it a guild hunt instead.

Never brought my own tamer there... It should be interesting, especially since neither Farsight or Cream have armor that can make one of us a good decoy.

And ChromaticDevil, the Haven based guilds (like GRI or CYM)are usually up to something on Catskills, if you aren't there already, maybe you should come on over to our place and we'll show you around properly?
